Free: CAMBA Creative Kids, which began in September 2005, serves school children in PS 139. Program services are offered five days a week and include supper and socialization, homework help, cultural and enrichment activities, arts, recreation, conflict resolution and clubs.

Fee-based: Kids Orbit operates full scale after school program at PS 139. They provide children with a family-like atmosphere for their after school hours. They offer the kind of flexibility that families need. Activities include supervised homework and a variety of enrichment activities ranging from yoga and sports to art, music and drama.

Fee-based: Trailblazers Under One Sky (UOS) offers holistic and innovative after school programming that promotes critical thinking and a sense of wonder for the world around us. Their four core values – respect for one’s self, respect for others, respect for the community, and respect for the environment – guide all aspects of their program, ensuring that all children grow and learn as they have an amazing time. Each day is filled with outdoor elements and a schedule determined by the interests of the group.

Free: America SCORES New York serves as a driving force in promoting sportsmanship, self-expression, commitment and teamwork for youth in under resourced communities in New York City. Through a combination of soccer, poetry and service learning, our unique after-school program shines a spotlight on these poet-athletes, helping them develop the skills necessary to lead successful lives off the field and outside the classroom.
